well when mine blew It was around 1200 but i went to a dealership and i also got a new throw out bearing, flywheel, and clutch cables put in. dont go to a dealership go to an ase certified domestic inddpendent dealer. normal dealerships will cost you 75 to 80 bucks an hour and its about an 8 to 9 hour job. independents will charge like 45 to 50 an hour. good luck man!

"Boost tuning"....... have you had your 8 PSI today?

my car has nearly 74,000 miles (approx 20,000 miles in last 14 monthes alone)
this is my first stick shift manual car so i was alittle rough on it , thnk it is due for a clutch?
i wasnt planning on doing it myself since ive never done it before $700--850 resonable ?

Honestly, changing the clutch is pretty easy. It's getting everything out of the damn way that's the pain. You've gotta get the motor supported, pull out the left halfshaft and half the suspension on the left wheel then you just unbolt the trans.

Of course, that's WAY simplified.
