ok hate to do this but i need to get rid ot the car... so here is the info on it..
2000 cavalier z24 2.4 LD9
105k on the car
75k on the engine (was replaced do to oil pump failure)
front brake rotors, pads, and lines were replaced
rear brakes and rotors resurfaced. whole brake system has less than 1,500 miles on it
the car itself has been very well kept.. tried to make sure the oil was changed every 2,500 miles but most of the time it was changed every 3k. here is the list of mods.
engine
-aem short-ram intake (blue)
-upper and lower engine mounts
interior
-interior painted blue and silver (plastics blue, dash silver)
-3 gauge pod w/ autometer c2 air/fuel ratio gauge (2 empty spots)
audio
-Eclipse 4441 Tape Deck
-Eclipse 8 Disc CD Changer
-2 10" Rockford Subs
-6 1/2" FNQ3614 Rockford Components
-6*9 Rear Rockfords
-Rockford 3001 mono block amp
-Rockford 1 fared cap
(the sound system is in a custom built trunk. fiberglass and all. pictures at the bottom. total value of the system = $2,000)
other information
-front and rear crush guard has been removed. resulting in the front bumper split in the front. the rear bumper is fine, but the front has been cracked about 3 inches from the top-center of the bumper. holes were drilled and big zipties were used to hold it together. it looks fine until you get up close to notice the zip ties
thats about it for things on the car. you maybe asking why the brakes were done if i was going to sell the car.. well. i went to maine for a weekend and when i got back they were squeaking a bit.. my uncle is a parts manager at a dealership and told me i needed new pad and that the front rotors were not even.. so one side gets worn to nothing while the other side is good.. so the lines were replaced.. and i figured i might as well do them cuz if no one buys this car then ill still drive it a little and will want it to work right... so yea.. the sound system is going because i dont own my own vehicle when the cav is gone.. i work for coca-cola and they give me a company van.. only other thing is a yamaha bike which has no use for the subs.. so.. they whole system is going too.. its an awsome little system.. the system is tuned very nice for alternative music.. any rap would need to turn up the bass just a hair.. but .. the whole thing sits in a nice looking (clean) show trunk.. nothing fancy but it looks good... subs hit very strong.. has a cap in it so the headlights dont dim.. only different thing that ill do in my next one is amp the speakers... other than that it sounds great.. lots of compliments..
