nejbody is proud to bring you the second hopefully annual maine indoor karting races
this is just a feeler post i would like to know how many people are interested in this i am inviting everyone no matter what state you live in.
if you dont know what mik is , maine indoor karting(mik) is a place where they put you in jumpsuits, neckbraces, helmets and flame retardent gloves (all safety measures) it is indoor karting obviously these are european go karts that can get up to 45mph generally on the track they get up to 39 (believe me thats fast enough) we did this last year and had about 10 people show up it was a great time everyone was very competative. the course is very windy and you can get your kart to drift like crazy if you have the driving skill even if you dont know how to do it you will learn to do a minor drift rather quickly. this is not for the weak people after one race my arms were like jello sure im a overweight guy but even some of the fit people were complaining on how strenuous this is.
i would seriously like to get about 10 to 15 racers there each race costs about $17 for what they say is 5 min laptime (but last year we were the last group and we stayed for well over a half hour) as soon as i find out a rough estimate on how many people are going i will contact the owner to see if we can possibly get a group discount hell if we get enough interest we might be able to rent out the place for an hour or so but we'll see about that when i get a tally goin

so lets start signing up folks i wanna see a decent turnout not only is it fun to race in a gokart full throttle driftin corners like your in a rx7 its nice to get out of the state and just have a blast with a bunch of cool j people that have the same interest as you do cars !!!

I went last year and it was a blast. It was a discounted rate for two races, I remember that. It's worth the trip if youre a Mass'er, NH'er, or mainer....it really is. We had around 10 ppl on the track last year and it was a great experience.

January is bad I've got a Military School going during the First 3 weeks of January. I'll definitely be home during December, I'm shooting for the 1st to the 26th but more then likely it will be from the 10th to the 26th.
