The infamous whale tail trunk...FOR SALE
Wednesday, September 21, 2005 9:18 AM
I think some of you might still be surprised that I haven't gotten rid of this thing yet but it is still sitting in my garage waiting for it to be put to good use. I am personally tired of seeing it sitting in the garage because it makes me want to buy another Cavalier just to install it back on, but I am sure someone can use it to their advantage.

Some information about the trunk lid:

Manufacturer: Class Glass Performance in Cumberland, MD
-Fiberglass
-Molded spoiler
-Shaved inner tailights
-Shaved trunk lock

Asking price: $175

Picture: (I will post updated pictures of it once I take some tonight when I get home from work):

In all honesty, I think the trunk would look amazing with a Buddy Club 2 or Type J rear bumper, but that is just my opinion.

You can either e-mail at labelkills187@aol.com or respond back to the post if you are interested. Thank you for looking.

Have a good one,
Justin

She is doing good, in lots and lots of pieces right now but I bought some replacement panels a month ago so I have been tackeling that aspect of restoring the car.

As for shipping quotes, I will see if I can get some prices by the end of the day. I am currently swamped with work.

Thanks for the interest everyone.

Have a good one,
Justin

I've been good. I just have been working on friends cars, wishing I had a sport compact of mine own again, lol. Other than that, I just have been working a lot and going off-roading on the weekends. Hope everything is going good over in your direction.

Yeah, they were sold a few months back. There is a local kid driving around in a blue Cavalier with the rear and sides on. I understand now why people don't lower their car when they have that Buddy Club 2 rear bumper on, that thing sits really low.

All I have left really is a car bra and a burnt wheel from when my lug nuts rusted and I had to weld metal onto them to break them loose off the car. I think I am going to us the wheel and make a coffee table out of it.

Have a good one,
Justin
