i didnt get the whole story but it was something about loosing a bolt to the battery (they had to disconnect it inside)and forgetting a pocket book at the motel?i on the other hand went to get something to eat and left my car open so it could be judged and it rained while i was gone and no one closed my car up its still wet hows that for hard luck.

I would NEVER, EVER leave a car show without rolling up my windows and locking my doors. I wouldn't leave until it was judged if that was what I was waiting for. There are vendors at East Coast Nats that sell food...at least there was when I was there 2 years ago. Too many people with sticky fingers....and I would never expect some other complete stranger to roll my windows up for me if I was that dumb to leave them down.

ohh i think i know a lil bit about that, I got a call from Tracey on sat saying that they were trying to take off the negative battery term and dropped the wrench and did some 12v welding, they wanted to know what was messed up potentially i advised to start checking fuses maybe the damage was more serious

theres nothing to steal out of my car.some one would have to get in there and start ripping stuff out.besides when im at a show i take only things that i need a few cds, basic tools(cheap ones),a cooler, cleaning supplies, and an over nite bag.of course out of all of the shows ive been to in the past 7 years i or anybody that i know has anything stolen so it never crosses my mind.damm i hope they didnt fry anything.ive been checking things in my car from were it got soaked.i found a couple of little things nothing major though.

It's just crazy to complain that no one would roll your windows up...people aren't going to mess with other people's cars...and I wouldn't really want anyone messing with mine. People have been known to jack everything at shows...steroes, anything they can get ahold of.

After every single show that you go to, you come on here complaining about one thing or another, or bragging that you get first place or that you should've won this and should've won that if you didn't win. It's getting really old.

umm ok ,yes i do share what happens at shows im proud of what i get at shows and ive placed at every single show that ive been to (thats bragging)but i dont do it to piss anyone off,nor do i think my car is the @!#$.i just dont understand why people seem to respond negetively about what other people do or achive.thats why i ask what i ask thats all.thanks for your honest reply.by the way crystal when is your car gonna be done?cant wait to see it finished.

My point is this, if everyone got on j-body after they went to a show and posted how they did at the show, that's ALL every single post would be about. A lot of people on here show every weekend. I'm not being negative, I just don't think it's a big deal.... In my opinion your car has far to go to be a first place winner at national shows. But I'm not a judge and I'm not being negative, I'm just being honest in my opinion. Modifying a car for shows doesn't consists of doing a few small things and then entering every show...if it were that easy, everyone could have done that years ago instead of actually "customizing"...(molding, shaving, etc). I've showed at most every show that you've posted about with my old kandy green cav, so I know how they go, btw....and I'll be returning to the show scene next year after sitting this one out and working on my car.

My car will probably not be done for many months....it may get repainted another shade of primer after lots of body work by this October, but it won't be "finished" any time in the near future. Thanks for asking, though.

Why not get the whole Anvenger kit like I had?? The rear is a little high but the Avenger sides look best, imo. Are you going to keep it Indigo Blue Met.?

yeah im two toning the car the top will be blue.im not sure about the bottom color yet.my air brush guy is going to put it on the computer and try a couple of colors and designs.as far as the kit goes im thinking about using bomex sides and maybe a drift rear or bc2.a friend of mine has the sides i need to get with him and "test" fit them to see if they "flow" with the ww bumper.i would like to have the ww sides but i cant find them cheap right now.

I think it would look better if you put a lighter color on top and left the bottom blue...just my opinion, though. I know where a BC2 rear is for sale.... And if you would've caught me a few months ago, I would've still had my WW Avenger sides....but I sold them.
