WOW that ruff. not like that in MA. So why didnt the person who tinted your window say that?

Some times it depends on the cops. But lately they seem to be cracking down on it allot more than normal. Even though tint has it's good points as well as its bad points. Good for us cause ppl can't see what is sitting in our cars, Bad for the cops cause they can't see what is with us.

^If you have sensitive eyes or some other junk you can get an exemption from an eye doctor...I get headaches from the sun and from bright headlights at night sometimes, so my mom is sending me to the eye doctor to get one...SWEEEEEEET!!!

Yeah it's in most states that you can't tint the front 2 windows of a vehicle. In my town they don't care, they have better things to do than ticket people for tints but I have gotten a ticket for them when I got pulled over for speeding. $50 fine...oh well.

From looking at your sig, I know why he pulled you over. That tint looks really dark.

A buddy of mine got pulled over one year for tint and had to take it all off on the spot. I thought it was pretty dickheadish of the cop.

Have a good one,
Justin

actually you can have your windows tinted. the front door windows have to let 70% of light thru. hence 30% darkness. the back windshield pretty much be as dark as you want it. with still being able to see out of it. if you want to know more buy a state inspection book or look it up on the pa website. also theres usually an as1 line on every front windshield. thats the max you can go with a sun strip. anything lower and you can fail state inspection. keep in mind if its a legit shop and it pass' inspection, its not illegal.

thats what everybody here has been telling me, that your allowed the back windows tinted........i went with the 5% tint because as far as i knew it was legal.

AND that cop said he could make me take it off on the spot, but he "didnt feel like being a hardass" then right after that says that if he pulls me over again i would end up with a $200 fine?!

heh, my rear 3 windows are tinted at 1.5% (30% with 5% over it), the door windows are 30%. I've never had any trouble with cops

every window behind the front side windows can be whatever

the coupes are the loophole..

but wtf? you can tint windows but you must be able to see in at night or something like that
