eazy go to your local police station at the desk they should have a book of vehicle code. all the laws concerning your car.
in that book it says nothing about neons but rather a general statment going something like this
you are only allowed to have orange and white on the front of your car,
orange, red, and white for backing up purposes only on the back
orange side markers
every other color is reserved for other purposes such as police/fire/ems/
that is basically what i red when i went to the police station on long island
youlc could always drive around with your neons on and then ask teh arresting officer what the law is....hehe
Yo man, I know blue red and green are illegal because they are safety lights. Other than that I know purple is legal, probly white, orange, yellow maybe. Id still ask or get some solid info tho.
um what kinda saftey light is green?
Ambulance is green.
As for NY, As long as you are not driving with them on, and you cant see the bulbs when there on, your fine.
“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that’s even remotely true."
The first responders here use green lights.

i know the ct laws are eazy your alowed to drive with them on as long as you can not see the builb. any color.
yea i never seen an ambulance with green lights either but thats cool then sorry for the dumb question i guess
in md there labled as a distraction to other drivers and are illegal and you will get a
ticket for it. good luck.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
up here in maine its similar to what Mark said...red blue and green are bad (btw, border patrol is green too, none of our ambulances are tho), but we can have anything other than red, blue or green
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
i had lots of toys when i was young.slinky,etc.but once i found my penis, that was all she wrote
police use red, so do the cheifs for the fire halls. first responders for fire halls use blue, and where i volunteer, we are just ambulance responce, our members have green lights for our vehicles. the ambulance does not have any green lights on it. as far as your ? eazy, i have been told that as long as the tubes arent visible, they are legal to drive with, but thats just hear say. i'll see if i can check with the locals
I hope to see what it is. I'm just south of ny state line and I've heard you can, but I've never tempted fate. cause I don't want to get any tickets and have my insurance climb. haha. But that would be sweet if we could.
Red and blue are illegal for sure. I believe all the rest are too, even white. Hidden or not is doesn't matter. If you are in a parking lot you are usually fine but as soon as you turn on to a road they will nail your ass. How do I know, last week I left a little car show at the Summit Mall and as soon as people started leaving 2 guys didn't get a mile down the road and they were pulled over.
again i say you can put white and orange on the front of the car
red on the back
here ya go nys law
