OK, we are sellin our 96 tsi awd. Its a perfect car in every aspect except it failed emmisions because of a CEL. The DMV says to get the paper signed saying the modifications are emmisions legal and it can pass. We decided to sell it for personal reasons and we feel its time to move on. It drives like a dream in all weather and can almos outhandle any street car. Weve had it to 160 with no problems. We never made it to the track since we bought it in september and have done ALL the mods since then. Anyone interested the mods are in my profile and we are lookin for $12,900. We have spent well over $20,000 on it in the past 5 months so we think $12,900 is good. Email me for my cell to come see her. We drop the registration this friday but it can be taken up our road and back. I'll post pics when i get a chance since the weather s*cks right now and im always workin. We can show it anytime. We also forgot to mention that it has around 345HP to the wheels off the bottle and around 400 on the bottle. Its a great car and a true sleeper. Anyone interested hit me up. It launches like a dream and we wasted a subaru STI from the line and beat it by 5 car lengths at the end. It has only been beat twice, A 530WHP evo and a 03 mustang Cobra, It has a reputation around here and in Hartford at the races. If youve been to hartford its a Red talon w/black top and BIG chrome rims. LATA!

It will not pass emissions with a CEL, ever. There is no magic paper you can sign. You have to have a certified mechanic fill out all the CARB exemption numbers that are verified by the product company. Sounds simple, but it's basically impossible. The only way to get that thing to pass is to fix it so there is no CEL, however you must.

Unless you have a friend who is a mechanic-- Its pretty easy to pass the car then.

My Girlfriends uncle owns plainfield shell. He is a state emmisions facility. ALso the people who installed all the @!#$ are willing to do the paperwork for it to pass. Were not selling it because of the CEL, its for personal reasons. This is a friends car im selling. I have done some of the work to the car but he paid Victor Research to do most of the work. Im selling it for him because he is to busy. Ok lata
and nitro, not to be an ass but CT emmisions are differant, Alll the parts are CARB legal and were installed by a trained emmisions repair approved facility which is what the state requires. we are gathering the paperwork to have it filled out. Also we have the stock cams if you dont like a CEL for irratic idle, and the SAFC can be removed for emmisions to, It sets a fuel trim malfunction code because it keeps the correction at -17.

Well, if you can get it passed in CT, then do it and sell it to someone else in CT, because in PA, that would never pass. I know some mechanics too, and I couldn't get mine to pass. I had to return it to stock to make it pass, so now I don't have any mods that throw codes. I'm just trying to warn people who might buy that car as a daily driver that they might be dissapointed if they can't pass it.

Trust me, Dont buy it as a daily driver unless you got $$$'s because the gas mileage kinda sucks and its 93and^ Biatch's. We love the car but were gonna supercharge the mustang and buy a beater. We thought of returning it to stock and selling the aftermarket shizzle and then selling the car stock. unsure of that yet. lata

there was a AWD talon here.. 325HP.. $3500.. your price is a bit high.. MATCHED speed from the line to the end with a 97 LT1 camaro 6 speed..
i wouldn't offer or ask much more than 4500-6000

ECOvenom-its a 2g BOV, but we also have an HKS SSQ BOV and a greddy BOV, The SSQ is REEAAAALLL NICE but the greddys good to.
