Alright as the title reads, ATCO is open on the 27th providing that the snow has passed by then and the track has been cleared. Brand new surface so its time to break it in people. At least four J's are coming with me, so if anyone else wants to pay $17 for as many runs as you can (whereas Englishtown Racegay Park is now charging $40 for three runs or some ridiculous BS) come on down. Directions can be found at www.atcorace.com. Also, if you plan on coming that day, MAKE SURE to call the race hotline thats displayed on their page to make sure they are open. If you don't do this and they close for some reason, don't come crying to me. Helmet rentals are $3 and you need a drivers license as a security deposit. Supposedly 18 and up, 17 with parent permission, but i've never seen them check licenses before, although i make no guarantees. Ummmmm yeah, that should be it i think, hope to see some people there.

lol like i said i don't think atco pays too much attention... if you bring your own helmet they'll never even ask for your license unless you look like you're twelve. Even when you give them your license to rent a helmet it doesn't seem like they look.
I plan on getting there when it opens, at 10 am sharp.. Like i said, call the hotline before you leave though or you might end up getting there to find that they've closed for weather/temp/etc.

Just called the hotline, and it would appear the guys at ATCO are set on opening unless they absolutely have to close. It said they are still scheduled to open but to call back late saturday afternoon/early sunday morning to be sure. HOPEFULLY they get everything cleared up because i am FIENDING for a few runs.

i'm hopeful, because the roads cleared up real quick around here... and all they need at atco if to jet-dry the track and have the pits and staging lanes cleared... which hopefully will be done by good-old mother nature and a little bit of sunshine.... I really want to go just cuz i don't want to spend all tomorrow installing the pile of free parts (GOD I LOVE WORKING AT A DEALERSHIP) frantically to get it all done in time for the track, and then have the track not open.... that would be gay... but i'm doing the snow melting dance right now so we should be good

I live in ATCOs area, and go to school about 20 minutes from there. Roads are fine we barely got more than a dusting. I highly doubt they will close. Either way ill make a post tonite letting you know how things are around here and Ill post tomorrow morning after I call them unless someone else wants to handle that responsibility...Cya guys at atco.
