So I noticed the other day that my muffler tip was hanging down to one side and when I took a look underneath the car I found that the muffler is separating from the exhaust pipe. The lady who owned the car before me had the stock muffler removed and had this muffler welded on to the stock exhaust pipe. I'm thinking that my best option is to replace the exhaust piping from the catalytic convertor back, including a new muffler, rather than to have this muffler re-welded. Do you guys agree? I just don't know how much it would cost to get it re-welded. I'd rather buy another exhaust and replace it myself.
Take it over to Mervine Brothers in Shillington. They do top notch work for a fair price. They did both my current and previous exhaust setup, as well as fixed the same problem you have..think he charged me like $40-50 to fix a separated joint
Wow, that's not bad at all! I will give them a call. Thanks
No problem. Ask for Claud when you call, he's a good guy to work with.
