Looking for all components needed to swap my 99 dash to a 2000 dash for the the double din radio.

let me know what you have and where you are. i am willing to drive up to 100 miles for the right deal.

You are better off with buying a whole parts car. You'll have to swap the WHOLE dash and because your 99 cluster will not fit in the 2000+ dash you will need to swap to a 2000+ cluster as well. But a 2000+ cluster requires a BCM which your 99 does not have, so you will also have to rewire the car.



You could try cutting up your 99 dash and just swapping the radio bezel, but there are no guarantees on if it'll work.

you can make you cluster fit the 00+ dash i have a dash but i live in northern va kinda far to drive but i would let it all go for 125 the only down fall is it has the crack in the top part near the windshied like most cavs i know my zip is 22554 just let me know i could have the whole dash removed in a hour or so

i was under the impression that with some minor mods i could get the cluster to fit. If this is not the case do you know of any other options? i cant exactly afford a whole parts car and dont have the time to totally rewire everything.

dont have to rewire anything just cut the dash a little and swap it out could be easly done in a few hours

yup gotta cut up the cluster area i did it with my 00+ fire dash swap a few mins with a dremel worked wonders.
