So as some of you know my job has been cutting my hours. it hasnt been a big deal since i have been making enough to get by but i got some great news tonight. i have 5 weeks until i dont have a job. my boss cant afford to keep me employed since there hasnt been much work this winter. so i need some help from the jbo members. if anyone knows of anyone hiring please tell me. i have 6 years automotive experience but i am willing to learn anything and am a quick learner. if anyone could help me out that would be great.
Thanks Again

start looking in the want ads
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
want ads are always a good idea, but dont expect much, in this economy and unemployment rate, they are getting swamped with applicants, and chances of you getting the position, or even a call back are slim. Of course I sent my resume into a job posting on Craigslist early September, and got a call about it yesterday, with a phone interview today, and a second interview next week sometime.
So theres always hope, just dont be disappointed when you dont get a good response to ads. A strong Resume is going to be your best friend in todays job market, spend some time on it. If you need help or examples, feel free to contact me, i can look it over for you.
What are you looking for though?
And just be glad your employer gave you notice. Thats a classy move in my book. Also, dont burn him on it, otherwise they wont be as willing to do so in the future.
My receptionist line is 610-906-3043, talk to either Amanda or Sarah, they can look at getting you in for an interview scott. I know I have an opening Saturday for an interview, I think it was 5pm. I do have about 14 positions I would like to fill because we have been getting much busier with the Holidays.
Btw Starting is $15 with incentives and bonus avail. Slightly different from the summer.
