i wanna do a engine swap this 2.2 ohv is not cutting it for a dd lol
having a shop do it will be expensive. i suggest reading up on it and buying an engine and doing it yourself.
btw, i live in bridgewater. sort of close to you.
i rather pay some one on here if they have experience , im not a good mechanic i can do like simple things but a swap and wiring thats a bit out of my league lol.
what motor you looking to swap in there? the 2200 is a great dd motor ive got one and it gets great gas millage and it withstands all my abuse lol. granted it is slow as balls it still does its job it was designed for. i have a 3100 with trans and all i dont need sitting around if you want to buy it lol.
would like a 3400 or l67 since im use to the l67 on my regal . the 2.2 is cool but my cavy has a nasty misfire i cant seem to find out what it is due to backyard mechanics that work on it when mother in law had it. the dash shakes like a earthquake and it doesnt help that i have after market mounts inserts either.
if you were closer you could bring it to my shop and we could check it for ya. but it most likely is either spark or fuel.
im not too far i think ? im in abington near willow grove mall .... how far is your shop ?
