Well like the feeler post in fall I've decided to put my cav up for sale. I love my car but it's been so long in fwd I think I wanna go rwd. I would like to keep it all together so someone can continue to enjoy the car.
Details:
miles - odo reads 150k
Engine was replaced at 138k and had 40k on it (have recipts)
Trans was replaced 1 months ago and had 100k on it (have recipts)
Suspension has one season on it, pass rear mount has a slight clunk on lg bumps
There is very little that has not been replaced or addressed, the car has almost been rebuilt
everything listed in my reg is current, the car is beautiful. Gets compliments daily, has won awards at numerous shows. I just gave it a fresh oil change and got it out of storage, had driven it all week. Running as great as ever.
cons:
- moonroof will open but not close all the way, can adjust it and it closes again
- slight exhaust leak on startup, goes away after warm.
- ebrake is not hooked up to the rear disc conv
- slight rust bubble starting to form above rear bumper under gas door, hard to beleave because it was not there when I repainted the quarter
- has the infamous dash crack, have a new dash sitting for it.
- the front seats are fading near the windows
- the front lip is chipped, I plan to respary it before a sale

Thanks guys, it will be a sad day when it goes. I hope it goes to a good owner too.
I should add I've owned it for 5 years now was a daily for one year and saw one winter, then was used a a summer pleasure vehicle. Before I owned it it came from north Carolina, carfax is clean.
I do have quiet a bit of vacation time built up so I may be willing to work out a delivery with someone.

lol horrible drawing!! The charge piping in the bay is all ran threw the stock airbox and a 2.2 ohv tube and 2.4 throttle cover.

Cf hood is painted. same as painting any other part, prep work is key. Then just do as many coats as you want for color or clear. I wanted mostly blue and when the sun hits show the carbon, we did 2 coats of color and 7 coats of clear

hey your hood curves up when its cold? if so, one of my older cf hoods did that. lol and then it flattened out and layed flat when it was hot out.
If it was closer to me I would buy it up. I need a new car, totalled my cav

yeah it's pretty annoying. Fits real nice on a hot summer day, then on a cool night it will rise up a little.
Mactruck it's nothin special just factory base coat and 2k clear.

Good Luck Steve! Purely one of the cleanest and best put together cavs ive ever had to judge haha, attention to detail and cleanliness on this ride are major things...hope the next owner of it takes just as good of care as you did of it.
