So eventually my cav will be getting traded in so I figure I might as well see if anyone wants this stuff. I am currently at school, but my parents can ship every day of the week so that shouldn't be a problem. Buyer will pay all shipping costs in addition to list price. Since the car is at home, it is kind of hard to take additional pictures, but I will do my best to get you what you want and answer any questions...
$500
Complete suspension setup consisting of:
-Road Magnet Lowering Springs
-Tokico D-spec Struts
-Overkill Engineering Motorsports Solid Front Mounts
-(I used the factory rear mounts but these are not included)
Springs & struts have been on the car for a little under three years (~25,000 miles). Springs were powder-coated black when purchased through Road Magnet but that has since worn off and now they are bare metal. The new O.E.M. solid front mounts have been on for almost half a year and I haven't had any known problems with this set. These are the new ones that O.E.M. sent me after the whole bent mount ordeal, but this new set hasn't given me any problems. The aluminum bushings might be slightly chewed up (cosmetic harm only), I can't really tell while they are installed on the car, but I'm sure O.E.M. could get you a new hardware set if you really wanted it. I guess I could separate the mounts from the suspension setup if someone really wants them alone. However, I will only be going back to stock if I have a buyer for the complete setup, otherwise it is being traded in lowered. Happy to share more pics & my opinion on the entire setup/drop. It was a great first-lowered experience.
$75 shipped
-RK Sport carbon fiber reservoir cover
-RK Sport carbon fiber brake fluid cover
Both are in great condition. A little dirty as they are still installed on the car, but they will be coming off next time I'm home and they should clean up nicely. If they show any sign of wear, price will drop. Both pieces are the only two c/f engine pieces I have, which are both shown in the pics below.
$35
-GM Front Strut Tower Bar (factory condition, some marks/dings that were there when I ordered it directly from GM)
$25
-Polished Rear Strut Tower Bar
$75
-Addco Rear Sway Bar
The bar itself was kind of dirty/chipped/rusted when I got it (bought used) so it isn't the prettiest, but it is very functional. A great mod for your lowered car. But if you want it to look brand new don't buy this from me. Although you could easily have it coated. Also, I ordered brand new hardware/bushings directly from Addco a few months ago that will be included. This costs around $30 so you could always get new hardware if that is something you are interested in. The pic only shows the old hardware with one mounting bracket (now there is one on the left and right like there should be); this is one reason why I ordered new hardware.
Any questions or anything, you can PM or IM me (AIM: akonechnIU) and I will respond asap. Cash on pickup, otherwise PayPal will be method of payment for any items being shipped. Thanks for looking!
would ya take any less on the swaybar? and where are ya located?
Wow I'm suprised at the powder coating on the springs. Nice setup tho.

CF pieces are pending payment, with many people having second/third dibs lol. I've had a ton of interest in them. One person is interested in the suspension. Rear strut bar is spoken for I believe.

Me too, how'd they rust up so fast?
Besides that, I love this setup. This is a really good deal for someone looking to save a few bucks on a great suspension. GLWS

I was kind of surprised when I saw them too. I mean my car is a DD, but it's not like my car sees a ton of snow and constant bad weather or anything like that. I'm guessing it was just a poor powder job because I think Road Magnet had someone else do it for them. But yeah thanks prowler, this was a great first-time lowered setup for me.
so whats the situation on the rear sway bar ? did ya sell it?
No, I am getting shipping quotes on it for a few people but is still for sale.
ok well if they dont come tru pm me and ill take it
^Will do.
CF Engine pieces are officially sold/paid for. Thanks Darkened!
Complete suspension setup is sold!
is the rear syay bar accounted for too??? if noi i am very interested
I've had one person ask for a shipping quote but unfortunately I ran out of time to take it off the car this weekend. It is going to have to wait until next (or even the next) weekend depending when I can get home and take it off.
-Complete suspension setup (including mounts) is sold and awaiting pickup.
-C/F pieces are sold and sent out.
-GM front strut bar still FS.
-Rear strut bar is still FS. It is going to cost around $35 to ship due to having to buy a big box/packing material for it. I would take $50 shipped if someone wants it.
-Rear sway bar is still on the car (coming off next weekend) so no shipping quotes available yet, but it is still FS.

If I make it easy for you and make it so you don't have to remove the L brackets from the struts would you go cheaper for me? I could also possibly pick it up in the next couple weeks, IIRC don't you live near Findlay/Fostoria originally? The reason I ask is When I sold mine I had a spare set of the l brackets so I just left them on the car.
^Are you talking about the rear sway? I am taking everything off no matter what, so it really depends how much cheaper you are talking. And I have no idea where Findlay/Fostoria are. I'm about 30 minutes west of Indianapolis. But if you could pick it up, I would be willing to work out a price.
Oh nevermind, someone who had a black cav exactly like yours used to live by me, I thought it was you.. ha
