ok so i have a 1995 sunfire 2.2L non eco tec that i would like to supercharge but i cant seem to find an intake manifold or supercharger that will work so if anyone has one or knows where i can get the kit let me kno thanks
Thats because no one makes them.
The only ones that have been made to work are centrifugal chargers. But youll need to fab up some brackets and what not.
Turbo is your best bet.
2.2 ohv dont have enough room for a blower. turbo is gonna be your best bet as said already.
Better build that engine up before you turbo it though i see you only have a cold air intake i turboed my 2.2 ohv before i built it and bent push rods so make sure you build it and as stated before there is no supercharger option for the 2.2
thanks guys well do ya kno where i could get the turbo kit then? cuz i have another motor with forged internals and bored 20 over just lookin fo something to make the car a little more rescpeted lol
i think hahn had a turbo set up.. but thats pretty pricey. I your better off custom building one yourself
Hahn doesnt support the LN2s.
Youll have to do your own research and piece together your own kit.

they have a kit on their webpage
Yeah the 2.2 OHV and the Ecotec is still on their page, did they drop the 2.4L kit?
hahn racing??? what is the web site i have no clue cuz this is my first jbody that i have wanted to turbo so please help me out
That kit wont work for 95-97 the intake manifold is different the turbo kit on that page is for the 98+ LN2 for 95-97 you will have to make your own turbo set up

couldnt i just change out the intake manifold ???? i mean it is still a LN2
bump ay imput on my last question??? could i just chang out intakes to make the kit work?
yea you should be able to just change the manifolds

if you change the intake manifold it should work just fine but i know that 95 was a wonky year with not having the camshaft position sensor and certain electronics may be difficult for the pcm but may not make a difference i dont really know i havent worked much with the 95 2.2 but i would recommend that you build the engine with some forged goodies before you just slap a turbo on it

yeah i was planning on building the engine cuz i have a second engine but i didnt wanna buy somethin i cant use ya kno well does anyone have an intake to work with the turbo kit for a 2.2 lol
