lost to a restored 63 corvette. the same guy also had a suburu wrx sti that won the subaru class and a jaguar that won its class.
somehow im thinking i just didnt have enough money poured into my car lol.
not to mention some of the hin rules for competition are completly asanine.

HIN basically just goes by type of car. gm. so your up against every gm car there. this just happened to be a high dollor shop owner that was there showing off his car. i dont have a problem going up against old cars.
its just their judging is dumb in my opinion. i was on brand new rims and tires. less then 150 miles on the tires (the distance from my home to the show. they were put on that week) was sponsored by coopers so im on cooper tires. i was told i only got 1 out of 5 points possible because my tires weren't "performance" enough. that if i had been running toyo's or say some other bigger name brand tire i would have scored higher. so basically it doesnt matter that its new and shiny and clean and in perfect condition, it only matters what the brand is. then undercarriage. i got 0 out of 10 points even though i have stuff done like the rear end of the car the underside has been painted with flames added to it, but i didnt have a tire removed so the wheelwell is on "display" even though we went over it with the judges, told him we had it done and it is plainly visable by just looking at it. just seems they dont judge based on how good your car is built and the quality, they just judge based on how how much you paid for your name brand gear and how much you have into displaying it.
