Lots of parts: Built 2.2 Eco, S/C setup, exhaust, susp etc....

Well the time has come, I need to start liquidating some parts. Please keep in mind most of these items are still installed on the car and will need to be removed.

I’ll accept paypal and cash. The larger parts are pickup only and smaller items can be shipped. Feel free to post here, PM me or email me airtonics@yahoo.com if you’re interested in something.

M62 supercharger setup: $1500, this setup is off an Ion redline so the adapter plate is something I fabricated. The setup is intercooled and has the dual pass intercooler mod. Also included is the front mount heat exchanger and stock cobalt fill tube/reservoir. You will need to complete the coolant hose routing for the setup since mine was for my icebox and is setup much different now. The 36# injectors from the cobalt/ion will also be included however from what I’ve heard they only fit the 2002 fuel rail properly. If needed I can supply an 02 fuel rail, I think I have a spare. I don’t have an intake tube that will fit this setup however the stock airbox can be used or a simple elbow w/ 90 deg bend can be used. Nothing for the tune will be included, I did not use the s/c reflash since it came off an Ion. The stock Pulley will be installed on the supercharger

M62 interchangeable pulley setup: $125 Pulleyboys quickchange setup/hub will include 3.0 & 2.8 sized pulleys.

M62 Supercharger 75mm LS1 throttle body setup: $250, includes the adapter plate I fabricated, LS1 TB, 4” intake w/ TB couple and air filter. It uses the stock throttle cable and yes cruise control is functional. You will need to enlarge the hole from the stock airbox/bong and also either relocate the factory battery or install a smaller one to use it.

M62 Intercooler Ice Box: $200, This setup helped a great deal the one time I had an opportunity to use it. My IATS went from 150 deg to 106 deg once the ice was added on a 90+ deg day at the track. The materials were expensive to make it and it took a great deal of time to mock up & fabricate by Todd from Miller Performance Racing & myself.

Photo of the icebox/tb/intake setup:

Water/Meth injection setup $125 (shurflo pump, 3gph nozzle, boost pressure on switch w/ relay). I mounted this in the L side fenderwell area behind the turn signal lamp. I used the stock w/s washer as the reservoir.

Turbosport hood: $300 I drove all the way to KY for this hood yet I never used it. The pic is after I had it on the car for the trip home, nothing has changed since.

NEW Custom tubes Inc 3" catback piping (no muffler) $150

Pacesetter ceramic coated header - $150 pending sale

2.5" custom exhaust (stainless piping) w/ magnaflow resonator and superturbo muffler $200 (my current exhaust setup)

Spec Stage 3+ Clutch & pressure plate (used but plenty of life left) $150

Custom center gauge bezel (3pods w/o gauges) - $100 Pending sale

550cc RC injectors $150

Big brake kit (frt & rear) - $800 Sale pending

Forged 2.2 Ecotec $3000 , I have a ton of money and time into this motor. Todd from Miller Performance Racing spent a great deal of time with me getting the right setup. The springs are the only ones I’ve found ideal for the lift for the Comp cams used. The balance shafts have been completely removed which I don’t think anyone else on the forums has done. Motor was meticulously built and done right. The car runs great and for those who saw it at the bash know that!
• Eagle Rods
• Wiseco pistons .020 over
• Removed balance shafts
• Patriot Stage II CNC ported head w/ add’l port work
• OEM Headgasket
• All new OEM seals/bearings
• New Water pump
• Comp cams Street/strip HighRPM 222/224 duration 456/453 lift
• Si stainless valves (1mm oversized)
• PSI 1530ML valve springs
• Trick Titanium retainers
• GM adjustable cam gears
• The engine will come as a complete long block but no accessories.

5 speed getrag w/ Quaife LSD installed: $1000 plus a stock trans. I’m hoping to find someone to swap a stock F23 however if that doesn’t work I’ll take the trans apart and put the stock diff back in and sell the quaife by itself. The quaife cost me $1,400 plus the time to tear the trans apart and install the diff w/ new bearings.

Racetronix fuel pump $100+ a stock pump. (pending sale)

Suspension: RK coilovers w/ Koni Yellow struts $550. If you have a complete stock suspension that’s in good shape I can consider a trade + cash on your end.

Rear adco sway bar: $125

Wheels: 5zigen FN01RC 17x8 Gloss black w/ polished lips $450 Will come w/ 235/40/17 Hankook ventus rs2 tires but they need to be replaced. This mfg had an issue with the clearcoat peeling on the polished lips, I removed the clearcoat from the lips and polished the metal. It looks good however just wanted to advise of it and I’ll get some up close pictures later.

Lower subframe brace $30

I’m sure I’m forgetting many items but as I remember them I’ll update the list. Thanks!

Jon

I've responded to all the PMs, For those wondering and don't already know. The reason I'm parting out the car is because I purchased another car and I can't afford nor do I need two summer vehicles.

Also I'd prefer to sell the larger parts locally if possible (ie: Exhaust, transmission, wheels, etc if possible.

JMTS: I'll get some pictures of the wheels and rear sway bar soon. The sway bar is still installed

PJ: I didn't know he did, I know some have used the bal shaft delete kit from LVM and the neutral shafts from GM however I haven't seen anyone else remove them. I'll have to take a look at his setup as I'm interested in how he accomplished it.

Mike: If you want the motor you know what to do

Icemike: I'll take some pictures of the alchy kit soon, possibly tomorrow for you.

Thanks for all the interest!

Jon

skunk has deletes...

Don't know how you would remove them all together seeing how the water pump has to turn.

hmmm, is that top guide the normal guide, just moved up there? did you have to tap new holes or were there existing holes that work? thats interesting

The lower tensioner guide is the same, the upper guide is from something else GM related, sorry I don't know the part number it didn't have one on it. We didn't have to drill any new holes however we originally shaved the boss for the bolt of the stock oil sprayer for the chain, we made a threaded one instead and tapped the hole. Granted that part may not be required. Also the oiling holes in the front bearings for the balance shafts are welded shut and we installed new bearings in the back rotated so they block the oiling holes.

The cylinder head also has small holes drilled in the oil passage to allow oil to spray on the valve springs to help with heat/lubrication at 8k rpm. It's little things like those to me that make this engine so special. Todd and I spent a ton of time working out the bugs in those things. I can say the head alone has over $2400 in it let alone all the parts in the lower half of the engine and the machine work.

Jon, like I said on J-BOM, please let me know the dimensions of the icebox. I'll buy it in a heartbeat if it fits where I want it to on my Camaro. Thanks.

Whoever gets this motor will have one hell of a motor. i have personally heard and seen the motor run and perform and 8000 rpm is absolutely insane. this is one phenominal motor. would love to have this motor to myself.

Will the M62 with 75 mm tb work on the 2.4 with the intake manifold they are going to be making? Is it a cobalt/redline style M62?
