The plastic trim piece between the windshield and the dash on my car cracked right down the center the other day. Just drivin down the e-way in my 02 cavi ls sport and I heard a crack and just watched it grow. Just one more plastic piece I have to replace this spring.

in case you didn't get ^^'s sarcasm, it is very common, Good luck replacing it, That part is part of the entire dash assembly..

as you can see there, that massive piece is what that is connected to and that whole thing has to be replaced. some have tried fixing and being alright. Also there is a company who came out with a cover that glue in place over the factory piece. Although expensive it is probably the the nicest and easiest solution.

yea... i dont even have a cav and ive NEVER heard of that happening in a cavarlier... (more like ALL CAVALIERS!)

never happened to my 95 but it did it in my friends 99. i may have a replacement for you . pm me if you would like im located in saginaw and travel out of town alot, so i could take it to you if needed
