I need help on finding a short block i would really like a new one but, all the places i have looked only come with a full block
this is for a 2001 2.4 liter
please let me know if you know anyone that has one or where i could get one at.

I dont know if you would be interested, but i am getting ready to pull a 2.4 out of my brothers dd. The only thing is it has 200,000+ miles on it. Once it is out i really just need it out of my garage. I would let it go dirt cheap! Perfect for a rebuild! Let me know. I dont think you can just buy a new short block.
well my car only has 20k on it so im looking for a new one, but iv looked everywhere i can only find used ones or ones that only come in a full block..

Just wondering if i understood what you were try to say in your one post about 20k. Are you saying the motor has only 20k miles and you are wanting to replace it? If so may i ask why?
And also i highly doubt your going to find a brand new short block. The only way your going to have that happen is buy a reman(which i wouldn't do for the simple fact you don't know what your getting) or buy someone's beefed up short block that they were building. Other wise your stuck with a gm crate engine if you can still get.
i blew the whole motor up...i got a new head and now need the bottem end
