Well to make a long story short I picked up this hood from Erebuni recently. When I received the hood I didn't look at the bottom of the hood to check for damage I only looked at the top so I signed for it through the trucking company. Once I realized the damage was there and contacted the company they told me it was too late to file the claim and denied it. So now I have a OEM style CF hood with about a foot long crack ( est. I didn't actually measure it ) in the under side of the hood on the fiberglass part.
You can't tell the hood is damaged from the top other than a small stress cracks, one about an inch or so long on the same side from the hood flexing a little bit due to the crack in the fiberglass, once fixed it should stop that. I took some pictures of the hood and the damage to it. The hood does also have some other small imperfections on it such as a flaw in the clear that is about dime size ( also see pictures ).
The hood is still completely usable as-is, but I would recommend fixing the crack in the fiberglass to prevent any future damage.
I'm asking $250 OBO and don't be afraid to make me an offer. Local pickup only.

sucks to hear that it arrived damaged man. i wish i had some $ laying around....id love to put an OEM c/f hood on the drop top
Yea, it happens. It's my fault I didn't look over the hood better before I signed for it though...
Oh well...
I would have went after the shipping company as well. I would still try my hardest to do something about it. It was uppon further inpsection after you got the hood that you noticed the damage.

when you accept a package you have X amount of time to inspect and report any damage. if you dont do it within that time, a delivery company will not honor your claim.
Well I think that was my first problem, I went to Erebuni first, not the shipping company...
But at the same time, I don't think it was the shipping company's fault. I think it was damaged from Erebuni...

that could be a possibility since theyre liquidating everything. i got two kits last august and they were in perfect shape though so who knows?
pm sent........... hopefully sold
Really wishing I had a cav..Good luck with the sale bump
you may want to consider VIS on your next go around. Usually VIS is a step up from Erebuni
yea, as far as i knew erebuni was a decent company...
i'm just unlucky i guess...

Anyone? I need to get this out of my garage...
Also if anyone is looking to trade anything I am looking for:
- rear sway bar
- racing seats
- aem clutch fluid bracket
- oem or quality aftermarket shift boot
Let me know!
get me 10 of them and you've got a deal...hahah
Another couple things I would take as partial trade:
- 00+ Graphite center console ( with the power outlet on the side )
- 00+ Cluster/radio bezel

does the outlet need to be functional? dont know if mine is. i so have both of these in my attic right now. very tempting. but better not. need em for my next projects. good luck.
oh and you dont have to have the aem clutch fluid bracket. just secure it to the strut tower.
