Ok, so I bought a used set of the coilovers, I was adjusting them before I put them on the front only to find out one is longer than the other.. WTF? I have no clue, I just need some different answers, thanks
so ur saying that the the front 2 springs are both a different size? what about the rear 2 are they the same sze if they are then u prob should just a brandnew coilover kit
under construction! its just taking a while
They're the same size, they came off of a car with less than 4000 miles on them..?
the only thing i can think of is you mixed up the rear with the front but if both the rear are the same then you maybe somehow have an alignment issue with the struts or something not exactly sure
gravana=junk, i have them and one side seems to be higher then the other no matter what i do. it is possible that the springs are set differetn on the sides. undo the spring perch until the spring is loose then adjust from there evenly. adjust both the spring(tighter the spring is the stiffer youll be) and the bottom perch until they are even, that would be what id do.
I sent gravana an email with pictures of what's up. I think something is screwy BC one sits atleast 2in taller with the springs off.. One doesn't rebound after being compressed=junk in my book, they have a warenty right? Haven't seen anything about it though. Thanks for all the suggestions
I wouldn't think that since they where "used" when you got them that "you" would have the warrenty. I hope that you get this fixed and you can enjoy them. Cause I've heard great things about them more then bad things going on.
True... I don't get the warrenty. I guess the struts are 120 a piece. So that's just what I'll do I guess. But I put them on anyways (BC the guy from gravana said it should be fine) and the only complaint I have is that I have crazy camber, I think its possitive? Out and the top in at the bottom? Anyways I drove it to work just BC I didn't have time to do anything else. Got any ideas on that? Basically I'll be the 1st to admit in this stage I don't have a clue what I'm going
anytime you lower a car you must get an alignment. i learned the hard way once, i droped my old cav on my gravana's and drove it home, by the time i was home i had two very bad front tires. unless you like buying tires alot youll need an alignment
So did they throw your tow off as well? BC mine is off... Kinda sux
