COURT???? what the heck did you do now???

I am in North Royalton... depending on where in brunswick/medina you are... maybe 10-30 min away.

if you get on 71, and go to the pearl road exit in strongsville... i am maybe 10 min from there... straight up sprague road.

of course... a lil comic relief to keep spirits high.... and drunk people make a great target for throwing wrenches at when something goes wrong...

Matt, how did court go? you in jail now? or might you have time to swing by....

I just would like to know if and when to expect anyone who might be coming by.... I am not going to buy beer and such if it is just me by myself...

i will need all my wits about me if i am doing this alone....

Well i have been at it now for like 5 hours... it is coming along pretty well so far....

but i am now taking the timing cover off, and i realize that there are timing cover bolts and such behind the crank pulley....

do you need to remove the crank pulley to swap the head???

if so how do you remove the crank pulley with the engine still in the car... i mean there isnt much room in there.... at all...

my repair guide of course says "you can swap heads.... with the engine in the car" but when they show you how to swap heads, they do it with the engine out of the car... and dont really address things like this for us in-the-car swappers.

so anyone who has done this and can offer some advice? what am i missing here?

Take off passenger side wheel and wheel well cover, then youll see the crank pulley right there. It will be 10x easier if you have an impact to remove the bolt, and youll need a pulley puller tool as well which you can rent fromt autozone or wherever.
