I'm looking for someplace to get my exhaust piping done up here in Lafayette. Does anyone know of a shop that will install customer parts?

Thanks
-Alan

do you want it done right or cheap? i live here in lafayette, if you want it done right then you will have to shell out some cash here in the city. there is only a few places that i trust, one is the carX on the highway 52 across from the mall, got a few friends that work there that know what they are doing, or you can go the A to Z muffler shop off of farabee dr. besides being owned by spanish( no dissing them just hard to communicate), they will do you a very good job(might need to know how to speak spanish).

Sorry I forgot to specify, I'm in Lafayette, IN. Thanks for all the replies so fast.

downlinx, could you give me the name of one of your buddies at CarX? I've had the one on the north side of West Lafayette do some stuff for me, but they won't install customer parts. If I can't get the one by the mall to do it I'll give A to Z a call. I know a little Spanish so I think I'll be alright.

ya the only thing i buy from them are audio supplies, wires and connectors and stuff, cuz they are the only place around that sells 8GA and up wire. 2 friends of mine had mufflers welded on there, they were pretty sloppy. i only went to see how much they wanted for a pipe because i have a welder at home and can put the muffler on and stuff myself. the guys they have working behind the counter seem pretty clueless, ill go in and ask a question about something, and theyll have to go in the back and ask someone lol
