Nice pics man. Hope to see you there again this year.
We're currently talking to Anthony at Second Skin Audio about a donation to the auction. Just working out the final details. Check out their products at
www.SecondSkinAudio.com.
Their stuff is amazing. I'm already filling my ride with it!
Second Skin Audio has donated 4 packs of Damplifier Pro sound deadener to the auction. These normally sell for $55/pack. If you're looking into sound deadnener be sure to check them out at
www.SecondSkinAudio.com.
I saw some of you at the Desired Image show in Flint last Saturday. Cars are looking good.
Hope to see ya at our show on the 30th. Less that 3 weeks away!

its about 2 hours away from me.Im thinking about going. Hows the show? I c you guys are expecting about 200 cars this year?
Well my opinion might be a little biased seeing as we host the show.
Let me be as honest as possible about it. After talking to some of the guys from DI it sounds like we pull in a similar amount at each show. The difference is, they put the cash towards trophies and we put it towards a donation to the American Cancer Society. So if you're looking for MONSTER trophies it's probably not the best show. If you're looking to see a bunch of other custom rides (mostly late model), meet a ton of great people from across the tri-state area, and help out a great cause then it's a great show.
The estimate of 200 vehicles is just that, an estimate. We had nearly 150 last year. This year we've spent a lot more time and money getting the word out plus it's in June as opposed to May. That's allowed us to hit some other shows to spread the word. The DJ we have this year is from a local radio station (Channel 955).
Last year we had sport compacts, muscle cars, mintrucks, classic cars and trucks, lowriders, a crazy dune buggy with an LS1, and more. I know the JBody crew from last year was the largest group there. We're expecting the same thing this year.
Guys, if you're going please speak up and let people know. It's one of the best way to help us get the word out. Last year we had a guy come from Brampton, Ontario over 4 hours away. This year we already have confirmation that guys are coming from OH and IN. Every year it gets bigger and bigger.

Well it sounds like a great show.. Trophies isnt what its about, at least me..its about donating to the american cancer society in my opinion and meeting people.. I will be there
Good to hear guys. Do me a favor too, I'll be the one in the bright orange Event Staff shirt taking all the pictures. If you see me around your ride feel free to stop me and show me around your car. It's alway nice being able to take some more details pics to post on our site and DropJaw.com.
One other thing that's unique to our show, the auction. Check out our show page and look at some of the great things sponsors have donated. There's a Precision Power A600/4 amp from DEI, sound deadener from Second Skin Audio, a digital air-ride control system from Air Lift and more! If you guys are looking for any of these items this is a great time to pick them up. There's no minimum bid. Last year I picked up a $350 gift certificate for U-Coat-It garage coating for... $100! There's some great chances to walk away with some killer items for a steal and it goes to a great cause. Just bring cash or a checkbook in case you win!
