As much as I hate to do it, I think I'm going to have to sell my baby . I'm laid off right now and just can't afford to work on the car and go to school. The poor car hasnt seen any real work on her since she got painted in the summer of 05. Right now she has a stripped interior and a handful of projects being worked on. I have most of the interior and all of the exterior parts that goes on it, plus a handful of brand new items that have never been installed. Here is a brief list of whats going on with her:

Engine:
none! I had to steal the engine/tranny to put in my DD. I was planning to put a v6 or a boosted eco in there, so half of the swap is done already

Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:

* GOLDLINE springs
* KUHMO 215/40/18 tires
* EXCEL Evolution rims (white with silver lip)



Rims have 1 (one) mile on them! They were test fitted and while test driving, my water pump went out. The car hasn't moved since. Cost $950 new.

Interior:

* F-1 RACING white steering wheel (not installed yet, but bags have already been removed)
*MOMO wheel adapter (needs installed too)
* Carbon Fiber mounting plate on steering wheel
* Carbon Fiber front door panel armrests
* 95-99 Sunfire center console
* Carbon Fiber console--includes armrest/change pocket/shift bezel
*rear seat delete--includes 2 CAVFIRE symbols cut out for plexi install (see pic)
* X-BOX. (Used maybe 5-10 times for Halo. Brand spankin new! No controllers or games.)




All parts will need cleaned and the c/f parts will need trimmed and wet sanded to really shine! Its simple to do and I can give instructions on how to do this to the buyer.

I know that this is a used car, a project car, and an aftermarket car. Even though I have invested countless thousands of dollars, I won't get half of it back. But I could get a few grand if I parted it out, so don't send any lowball offers like $500 or whatever. I will answer any and every question honestly and as quickly as possible, but please PLEASE PLEASE do not waste my time. You know if you are interested in this and if you are thats great--but if you aren't then don't waste my time. The car has never been wrecked and has a clean title. I will provide the VIN if you want to CarFax it. I have no plans to part the car out, so please don't ask for specific parts. If the car does not sell soon enough I may consider parting it out, but if that happens I will make a new post about it.

Obviously you don't want to, but I have a feeling you'll be parting it out as I had trouble selling my car with much more subtle mods.

With that said I'm interested in the MOMO hub and SPAL shaved door kit, and should have the money in hand for you.

joe: hopefully I can sell this as a packaged deal. after all, im asking 1/2 to 1/3 the price that you were asking for your car...and i believe that will make a big difference. if its still sitting around by spring break then thats when i will start taking orders for parting it out.

chad: white rims wouldnt look right on your car lol. but you should talk to your dad about buying this as a whole....i mean hell, if you spent 1200 on just a transmission, then a car like this would be considered a helluva deal!

By the way I was browsing eBay and I saw this this car....proving that nothing is one off with a j-body no longer, despite his tails being LED, same concept.

yeah i saw that the other day. at least i can say i was the first on here, if not the first J overall with that setup

in fact, now that its been brought up, chazz has a friend down in SC that used caddy tails in his rear too. i talked to him though and he did his a good year after mine though.

and i'll still have to pass on your offer. my car pretty much needs to go as a whole because so many parts will be useless w/o other parts ya know? it would be hard to sell just my rear bumper for example. or just the shell of the car (cause it has no lights and a huge hole in the roof lol) so id really like to try and get rid of it as a packaged deal first.
