Yes, that's right... the RHD Cavfire IS still around. In spite of the hopes of some, I'm sure... lol

Due to some unforseen circumstances, the car had to take a LONG hiatus. With minor progress, there wasn't much to post about (or even plan about). Thankfully, that has changed....

Some things have happened recently that will get the Cavfire back on the road in time for the '07 Bash (maybe sooner). The car will still be in under construction, but should have everything else functional. There are a few things I need and I hope there are people around who can help me... I'll post up a list and I'll update as things go on...

Here's what the Cavfire needs:

-Ecotec header
-Ecotec intake
-Sunfire 2 door trunk lid
-Tilt steering column
-Hub adapter for aftermarket steering wheel
-Aftermarket steering wheel (prefer black with polished accent)

As an update, the right hand drive is basically done. It's down to the finishing touches at this point (sealing off the extra holes in the firewall, etc). The rear seat delete is awaiting a few more layers of glass and it'll be ready to be finished off, we have started reupholstering the racing seats to match the new paint scheme of the car... All in all, the car has a lot to be done to it, but should be ready for the Bash...



On a side note, the renters in my one rental property have notified us that they do not plan to continue staying at the property. Does anyone want to buy a home in Dayton, OH? I can help with financing as well... just FYI.
