I have owned this truck for the last 2.5 years and driven it back and forth to work
every day since then. It is still running just as good today as it was the day i bought it. Never hard to start, does not burn oil, no leaks.
The GOOD:
- Just did a oil change yesterday, I've always been strict on maintenance and even though i won't be driving it anymore, it was due for a oil change so i did it.
-New exhaust (6 months old) - 2.25" piping, cat replaced w/ 27" Cherry Bomb and Dynomax Muffler in place of the OEM, sounds very nice, not loud at all.
-Newer tires, roughly 5,000 miles on them.
-Newer starter, only 6 months old.
-Newer front brake pads and drivers side rotor, roughly 5000 miles old.
-Sony CD player
-Custom shift know (Autozone FTW!)
The BAD:
-RUST, lots and lots of rust.
-Fuel gauge doesn't work
-Parking brake doesn't work
-Brakes are starting to makes noise, sounds like the rear.
-Heat works but the blower only works on high.
-Probably needs a new thermostat, heat works but takes a while to warm up.
-Exhaust leak where the manifold meets the down pipe, still not very loud but give the classic exhaust leak tick when you press on the throttle.
