so whos got one ... lol i guess my motors toast i only got good compression on #3 cylinder .....none at all on 4 .......father in law told me he thinks the piston rings went out .........motor had 220 000 somethin miles on it...i found a 95 2.2 but i think theres a difference in that year, is a direct swap only a 96-97 ? help please and thanks

You can use any 95-97 2.2 OHV motor from a J. or you can use the block and head from a S10 also.

You can use the 95 2.2, providing that it has a cam position sensor.
