The one I saw last week was $950 for Super to Cradle (Tranny, PS, Acc, WH, Comp included) and had ~90Kmi pulled from an 02 or something like that. That's really an ideal setup to build from. The L67 is a tough-ass motor. I wouldn't flinch at buying one with 100Kmi on it. I had a bonne with an L32 (non supercharged version) with 160Kmi, ran like the day it rolled off the assy line; only thing I did was change the oil and replace the alternator once. The 3800 is GMs pride for good reason, they're rock solid.

info eh....ok, dont tell the guy at the junkyard thats it anything special, say im looking for an engine outta a grand prix, then go look for one, then be like uhh...how much do you want for the engine outta that grand prix...hes oblivious, and you rip em good.

yeah i padi 650 for the whole car, and they let me strip eveything off it that i want. i got a pretty good deal i think...only got 60,000 on it too...

where did you go? im from WV so its only a few hours to most places in OH and at that price it would be worth the drive. i just bought a 97 sunfire and its got a 2.2 with 130k on it and a rod is knocking bad. and since i have to get a new engine, i might as well get a better one.

Contact Ed Morad, of Morad Parts Company... Tell him that Ben with the Regal from Indy sent you his way.

He specializes in tearing apart Grand Prix's, Regal's, etc (anything with the 3800 mainly) and can get both new and used motors at a really good price.
