i tried to look on the ohio laws website but that website just sucks and i figured someone on here would know

i want to add lighting on my ram air on my trans am. it wont be flashing or anything just a light. no different that underbody's.

the problem is that I want to use red

am i going to have a problem?

yea,my friends have red on their hood but cops never pull them over. but i wouldnt be surprised if someone on here would be the first.

especially since my car attracts attention and is loud as all get out

you can have them as long you cant see the bulb

I had blue in every opening of my old car when i was 16 some were even flashing and the cops said they couldn't do anything as long as you cant see the bulb

i wouldnt risk it,but i also dont like neons on hoods. if you want to then try.

thats what i'm going for, but red instead of blue

I wouldn't put any of those led lights on the hood because I think it looks ugly in my opinion.
Few years ago I had those neon lights that move under the car 5 years ago...which are now here in the states...I got them in Korea and had red lights on my '99 sunfire and got pulled over because..i was "inpersonating as a cop". Ah well

i've always been told by several police officers (both dayton and riverside) as long as the blubs dont show only the glow they are fine

and i think i should be okay, long as my blubs are hidden. we'll see, it'll go on my winter project list
