okai so kinda off-topic... i just keep thinking... the J bash is now the GM Small Car bash... when face it..the majority of GM's Sport Compacts are J Bodies

if what im hearing about GM is true... this whole "small car" thing might be done....

A friend of mine's uncle is an exec at GM.. he was down here and i was asking him questions. Now all of you who know me know that i think the Cobalt is straight garbage

He told me that the 2005 Cavalier out sold the 2005 Cobalt and Cobalt SS ... and that GM developed the Cobalt because they saw how teenagers were hooking up Honda Civics, and how Toyota came out with the Scion line and immediately started advertising aftermarket parts.... in reality not that many teenagers purchased the cobalts.... most think they look like Civics and the wanted to purchase a chevy sport compact to get away from Honda. the main purchasing group of people are older people who just want a car to drive. And worst of all.. Cobalts have been subject to several recalls... and the SS has been subject to many more... to the point that getting them to the dealers has been delaied....

He also told me that GTO Sales arent what they expected, and that warranty claims were way higher than expected...

So they are deciding in the near future to first bring back the F Bodies (camaro/firebird/trans am) with a retro body style...

And then the J-Bodies will be returning as well...

now thats just my 2 cents/ramblings...

i fully expect to be told thats not mainstream thinking, im wrong, and all that other good stuff.... i dont care
