Im probably going to be in need of one the week after next. Is there anyone who has one that I can borrow? I can pay some money or something.
If not Ill just bust out the heat gun and mallet. Just looking to make my life easier.
Thanks guys.
me too...when you are done with it.
Damn you. Getting my hopes up like that.
Baseball bat and tire off does the trick.

I used an alumpin pipe with the wheel and tire on.

Ive heard something about a set of pliers with rubber tips or something along those lines. I havent really looked into it too far.
You know u can rent one off the net? I thought about it but didn't have the cash. If u find one let me know I have 2 cars that need it done.

Ive heard that so I looked and the place I found wants a $200 security deposit and $50 for the rental. Seems like Im asking to get screwed over in that situation. Ill just use a hammer for that.
Yea its expensive as @!#$ to rent one, plus ya never know if you will ever get your money back lol.

Yeah, you put the bat into the wheel studs so it rolls in an arc.
I just used my hands when I did my fronts. That was also while I was pulling them too. The metal is thin enough to fold it over by hand.

Brian, just found this. Maybe it will work?? I can see it working for the front fendres because of the shape, but how about our rear quarters since there really isnt a shape for the tool to clamp on to?

Thats what Ive heard about but now that I look at it I agree with you that it probably wont work. I see it making flat spots in my quarter or something. I dont think the front fender even has a flat spot work with atleast on the Sunfires.
Well @!#$, looks like ill stick to my alumimum pipe then lol. I gotta do my rears.

Just asked him, he said you can come in and use it sometime no charge. Couple guys have used it on a few cars, they did say it leaves small ripples in the metal on the edge of the fender, you can't see it, but can feel it.
So it's up to you.
