Couple parts FS...New project fund
Tuesday, December 14, 2010 4:02 PM
Alright, I have posted about returning my car to stock before..Now the time has come. Not selling everything yet because I am keeping the car till it dies. The car has reached that point in almost every car's life where the owner decides if it is worth it to fix cancerous rust and keep going, or let it rot out as a DD. I started to fix it while modding it and just couldn't (Nor tried to) catch up to the rust so......It's DD time. Mainly to partially fund my new project . Got a good deal on a short cab, long box, 4.3, 5 speed, chevy. And that re-sparked my lost interest to build a street truck. Only time can tell the details of the build, but the plan is a 4/6 drop, roll pan, shaved tailgate, GMC logo-less grille (No billet), Amongst many other things.. But the part I'm most excited for is building the 350 and swapping it.. Doing my brother's truck hopefully in the spring time too. It's been a few years since I have gotten dirty in a SBC build and swap, and I'm ready for it. Along with the new challenges building a street truck will bring. I will still be around, being typical, useless Mike in most threads. So no worries. I just don't care to mod a cavalier anymore..

Everything is PICKUP ONLY, I may meet someone for added cost.

First up...A set of Enkei ZR-2's. 17x7, 40 or 42mm offset (Can't remember for the life of me), 17lbs a piece (Without tires), No tires. The two that are on them are toast. Some surface nicks but nothing bad. Also has a new set of stainless allen bolts for the center caps.

Retail for around $160 each new..Asking $225obo.

This is the one with the worst marks..Just a couple surface scratches.

Next is an RKSport Import Fighter front for 95-99 cavaliers..Didn't post a pic because you know what they look like, and if you don't, It's in my sig. But I do have a pic of the one crack in it. It can be easily fixed. (I will even give the compound to whoever buys the bumper) Don't mind the salt. It can't rust plastic..

Retails for around $400 new...Asking $175obo

Next is a set of 95-02 Z24 side skirts. No cracks, may be missing one tab. Once again, I didn't post a pic because you know what they look like.

Asking $40obo

Get this @!#$ gone. Make it christmas for your car.

I have tons of other stock parts from my J's over the years so if you need something, just ask. And probably in the spring time is when the rest of the stuff goes up. Mainly suspension components though..

Expect a build thread for my truck in other cars in the next few months..I hope to get that project under way fairly soon.

Oh yeah, Donations are also being accepted through my paypal mpargiello@gmail.com Internet panhandling FTW

Uni lug, 5x100 and either 5x112 or 5x114.3...I can find out for sure in a little bit..

Worry not my amish friend.. If the parts do not sell, Then they stay on the car But no attempt is going to be made to stop the rust anymore haha. I kept looking for an S-10 to mess with, but the 1500 came in better condition and price

I would be willing to buy the skirts so long as you can ship them...

I know they are are a pain but if you cant sell them locally I would imagine they are one of the easier things to ship as opposed to the bumper or something...

Let me know...

Full size trucks are only cool if you are frame scraping and tucking 26's with no wheel wells. And is it 225 for all 4 wheels?

Re: Couple parts FS...New project fund

Yup, $225 for all 4. Looked at the lug pattern and can't tell for sure on the other size, So I will measure them today. Hell, Come get them for $200 haha

If there are no bites on the skirts locally then I will pm you Alex.

Thought about air ride, Not out of the question at all . It might end up tucking 26's one day, But I would like to slam it on some 454SS wheels to start. I love those

Thats one of the things that will probably be going up in the spring time. Unless I get a wild hair and pull it off haha. I'll let you know in a few days.

Alex, I just checked your location and you might be in luck. I will be going down to Chicago sometime this month and we can set something up then if you want?
