04 ECO ECU?
Thursday, November 04, 2010 10:28 AM
so i have recently encountered an issue... my car would turn on and then immediately shut off. i figured that it was the passlock turning off the injectors and it just needed to relearn the code. so i did the code but the problem is the light never comes on. we plugged it up to a scanner and the scanner wont turn on but will for other cars. so i think we have established that the ecu is not getting enough power, if any at all. if anyone has had this issue let me know how to deal with it. also i might be in the market for a 04 Ecotec ECU.

if i dont get back in a while my internet has been messing up lately so you can message me on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=504386596

oil was changed 2 weeks ago and was checked the morning of the issue. oil amount is correct.
this however would not explain the lack of power to my ECU.
thanks for the imput though.

so it was recently figured out on what happened to my car. evidently there was a pinched wire somewhere that fried all the relays in my car. that was why i couldnt communicate with the ECU or BCM. replaced all of the relays and the car runs better then ever. my dome light even works again. lol.
