for sale. im definatly not shipping this. 2005 auto transmission out of a cavalier, roughly 25,000 miles total on it. partially polished housing. thought it had problems but we found out after i swapped trans that the motors wiring harness was the culprit. comes with torque converter. $200 bucks. obo

So, I told Ben id give him the 75 for it today, and then give him the money for the harness you have when my other money comes, if that works out.. I hope to hear from him tonight if he is at work.

I would like to have this transmission, since my donor car is an auto, but with 150k miles, id rather use this one and rebuild that eco motor and use that cars wiring harness and eco swap parts.

Thanks, I havent talked to ben yet today, so thats good news for me, the car has 70k, now it will have a tranny with 20k miles, and we will rebuild the ecotec, so it will be as good as new, the car should last a while, and is in great shape.

Brad: It is being ECO swapped for sure, and which trans I am going to use is up in the air, since I have both transmissions, but I need more parts for the eco 5 speed tranny than I do the auto, so it is most likely going auto since the eco swap donor is auto, so the wiring and everything is there. It would be a bigger hassle to get a 5 speed working in the car properly.

Anyways, this isnt my thread so I dont want to jack it, but we will see what happens with the car over the next few weeks.

no, I dont have LD9, I usually prefer it actually..

its kind of a long story, I wish I just had an LD9 to drop in the car and drive it. The swap is because I could not find a good LD9, and my friend who helps with motors and wants to do the swap, hates LD9, and said I can just get this parts car for 500 bucks, and it has a good ecotec and wiring harness and everything for the swap, but that car is an auto, so ive been weighing those options.

I dont have a ton of money, and just need a good reliable car, since it was an auto parts car, and the girlfriend may want to drive it, and I have all the parts, thats where the whole thing came from. I honestly dont care what motor is in it, but my last car was an 01 Z and I was plenty happy with that LD9. So really, its just a matter of circumstance.

Also, im not like ruining wades old car or anything like that lol. It is a stripped stock 02 Z24, with no engine on stock suspension and steelies, im not ruining what his car used to be. Im putting a motor in a stock car that didnt have one. Its not going to be modded or anything so the trans and motor dont even matter. Im a broke college student trying to get the car running.
