I believe they had STIs specially made that year theyve had them since the 80s but they were for rally sport. It was the WRX STI edition or something like that. In 2006 is when they changed it to Impreza, WRX, & STI
They were super hard to come by this is what they look like, they have fog light covers, only came in blue (i think) and the kit is slightly different:

well I gotta wait and see.. as far as I know, I'm getting Alberto's HIDs and his custom headlights where he made a shield to keep glare down. that and I'm gonna wait on doing the color-matched housings until I get the car repainted
