Installing the GM SC kit on the Eco soon and need a HP tune...
what else has been done to the motor?

most people i know who tune have done some motor work. why half ass something when you can get more HP before a tune?
i guess if you cant afford more parts before a tune, it's ok. but i was just asking. way to state the obvious guys, lol

Dude, you can get more Hp from tuning a stock motor. A tune does just that. Turns the computer towards performance, not fuel economy.
And btw, I'll be tuning with HPT very soon if anybody is interested. Just give me a few weeks to get used to it. But, according to Skunk it's so easy to tune a J he can walk me thru it over the phone. I've been studying up on it on the HPT site so I can't wait.

The supercharger is made for a stock engine and any engine needs tuning once boost is applied engine upgrades or not. He could just get the GM reflash(which is a factory tune) for the charger and not tune with hp but that seriously hinders things later should he do more to the engine. The reflash is untunable. If he listens to you his engine will blow up.
