Bascially here's the deal. I have to make a decision to either move out, or put Half Pint away for a bit and stop abusing him so much on the long trip to work everyday (Things are starting to act up under the hood and I don't have the time or money to start replacing things, especially big things).
Well, with the money situation I've got, I chose the cheaper choice: getting another car.
It comes down to Gas prices VS $700 apt fees + 1/4 of the amount of gas I'm using now. I still chose the other car, realisticly it's cheaper for me. Anyways, I can most likely get a loan from the bank of mom & dad as they think this is a better idea as well.
I'm just looking for something thats not a junker, but cheap and reliable (and good on gas and blah blah) and it's something I could mod here and there if I REALLY wanted to.
I'd love a convertable... but I'm really only lookin to spend $1500-2000 and they're hard to find in that price range that aren't already broken or about to be.
Definitley don't want a 4 door, don't need that extra room, don't want it either. Something in the 00-02 body style would be awesome.

But whatever you guys find around locally would be a great help. Even something at a buy here pay here would work too if it's still in that price range.

Oh and I'd really like to find something either in FL or GA, don't really wanna travel across the SouthEast to get another car when I could just easily buy a crappy lookin Honda and drive it til it dies lol

With just this statement I would say you would be better off selling the cavy. Trust me from experience no one needs to projects. For the price range your looking at you are going to end up with another car like you have (meaning it will need repairs). With that being said fix what is wrong with yours, and keep driving it.

^^ Nah no chance in sellin HP .. i dont really plan on modding anything else but theres always that 'what if' factor. Ideally I'd like to make HP a show car only ... but that's down the road thinking but for now, i just don't want to keep putting the miles on him ... it's an 04 with 108+K miles!
If i did any modding to another car, it would be something like lowering it and an intake, but nothing bigger then that really would be on another car.

Man I remember when I had to put the cavy in for some repairs after I got it (@!#$ty seal on my rear windshield out of the showroom, so they replaced for free otherwise I woulda sued em' lol) They gave me an 05 Colorado 24 hour test drive truck.... thing was awesome until I put the thing into 4 low once, I hit the button and all u heard was "Weet Weet..... CLUNK!" and the whole truck shook.... I laughed so hard considering I knew why..... 4wheelin in the borrowed truck! I know I did it =D
