i dunno..replace the engine? the block is fine so i figure i could just replace the head and cylinder and be ok. then trade it for a cavy lol

Heh, my mom had one of those. i called it the ford @!#$us. Thing was constantly going back to Ford and coming back just as screwy as when we dropped it off. Good riddance to that thing. Good luck with it though.
it looks like teh motor leaned out and teh piston melted.

it did something alright. the timing was off to. timing belt was really loose when i started taking it apart. but i got a new head and pistons for 180 shipped so it will be back on the road soon and im gonna traded it in
