I am going to be in town august 11th through the 15th for my best friends from high school's 21st b-day. She doesn't know i am coming and i haven't seen her in more than a year due to emotional reason's, but its been long enough so i am going down to surprise her for her B-day present. Does anyone in the area know of some deacent low cost hotels around town. ( 40-60 a night range) I've looked on hotels.com and many of them are in Aiken and i know i don't want to be there. I'd like something close to the bars. I'd be more than willing to meet up with some local members or hell invite ya over to the hotel for a little party with some beer and pool time... ha ha. Also what are some good bars/ night clubs to go to? Any help is much appreciated, thanks guys/girls.
I think there's a bar there called Last Call or something like that. Susposed to be a nice bar. I think Augusta is only about an hour or so from me.
Hmm..... i could have sworn there was someone on here who lived right in Augusta, must be he moved on or something. I wanna say his name was Jtechtuner or something...
I do remember a guy here from Augusta. Think his display name was MSD.

What about bars/ night clubs?
Washington road has a couple places. Go downtown to broad street thats were all the bars are. What kind of music are you into? If you like rock then youll like most of the bars down here. Im only 17 but ive still been to these places and there not that bad. If your on broad street look on the roof tops for HECK

Last time i was down there, i saw Fly leaf at one of the local bars. Which crap. was like almost 2 years back. But mostly into hard rock, metal, screamo, etc. etc. For some reason i thought you were older than 17. Where abouts in grove town are you? Cause thats where my friend lives. I don't remember the names for the roads for @!#$ since i haven't been there in forever, but i know we have to cross I-20 and pass the public libary then down one of the side roads is an RV store and then the on ramp to I-20 again. She's a little further up that road.
