Hey ya'll I'm new to J-Body... My boyfriend have a Cav and is on J-Body all the time, I just recent got a Cav too... (So we can show J-body, and other car shows, together).... I am looking for new and different ideas for color, effects, mods, anything to help me paint a picture of how I want this car to be. I come from a long line of car people seeing as my brother(s) (I have 5 of them) work on cars, body work, paint and show as well. My eldest brother's car took sweepstakes for LowRider 5 years in a row. So any idea's for this Cav will be greatly appercate.
Honestly, because it's a chick's car I deff. wanted it pink... Pink and black, which would look hot, seeing as you don't see many pink cav's floating around. But my boyfriend has told me pink might get old fast, so I was thinking maybe a navy blue and black or dark hunter green and black?! Something like that... If you have any ideas please don't be shy and just through them out at me.

Pink is not that bad, but I just don't like the normal pink. It always looks dull and crappy....maybe a metallic pink? I'm really not sure what to say. Check out the Photos & Media section as well as the Appearance to get an idea on what's what and what looks best. The look I'm going for took me a while to figure out, though it'll probably never get there. Laziness lol

I belive it is a 98 and needs a motor swap badly, though my boyfriend has that worked out!!! lo0ol... OOOO I do like that pink, to be completly honest the only reason I think my boyfriend doesn't want me to paint the car pink is he might have to drive it here and there some times.... Oh well, he'll get over it right? There aren't any pink Cav's or pink tunner's around here anyways.... My brother was think a decently bright but not overly pinky purple, it is metal flake and kandie.... It looks really really nice... I will take a picture of the color it self and post it later, then get oppinions on it... I would love to show the Cav now, but it needs ALOT of work, mostly body work!!! lo0ol... But it wont take to long for me to have it ready to go... My boyfriend is kinda excited now we get to buy each car gifts.... lo0ol...

oh, & remember, build the car for YOU , not everyone else. No matter what you do someone on here will always have something bad or rude to say, I have already done what your thinking about, I have a pink Cavalier. There are several of us that do (Most have left this site though ), and don't hang around too much. My car is a cotton cady pink, and I have not got tired of it yet. I strive to be different, I don't like to blend in..
