just my two cents but when my parents got seperated (only seperated not divorced yet) and my mom and i moved to TN nothing of the sort like that had to be done (taking things back and forth) and finally when the divorce settlement was done, my dad came and got what was his and my mom went and got what was hers. thats some bull IMO. lol.
