Oh man I just got the greatest news, lol.. my buddy has had a 03 Sunfire for about a year and a half two years now... he blew the engine on it about 9 months ago though, which sucks... but Its been sitting there ever since... and I've been kinda bugging him about taking random parts from it... So yea... talked to him today, he mentioned that his parents got him a new 06 Taurus... and was like "so what you wnana do with the car?" I told him prolly rebuild it and use it as a 2nd car so I dont have a lot of downtime with mine. "Well it still has the blown engine, but your free to take it" He said, i nearly dropped my jaw... Now i just need to find a place to stick this car to work on it (stupid apartment) And a way to tow it. But yea, completely shocked and excited

lol well I'm not gonna ask ya for your left or right nut bro, thats just weird... =P I'll have to double check and if it does have them I'll have to take em' out and all, but if it does have them your more than welcome to them and you can give me whatever you can for em'. Anything is appreciated, I just like helpin out. lol... I'm lookin for a new block, pistons & rods for it since the engine is fairly shock (sheered a rod and it fugged the block up in the process). Who knows, I'll get it running soon enough

well i got a extra eco head if you take it off my hands for a 100$ although its completely dissassembled with just the stock cams but i do have the cam gears somewhere

well the top half of the engine is great, the head & all the valves n all are in good shape. Basically the one piston sheered, and screwed the block in the process... lol... I found a complete engine in gainsville for about 400 give or take, which shouldn't be too bad. So I think I may work on getting the cash together to get that and then it'll be fun ripping out the old one & installing the new one. But it'll be worth it, 03 sunfire for like 500 bucks, lol

i was just joking, i wouldnt sell it for 100 bucks either, but i also wouldnt start selling parts off it, get that beast running and whole again and drive it
Figured as much, lol... my girl is already trying to claim it as hers once I get it running... go figure, =P Only things I am going to consider parting off it would be parts I would probably end up replacing with aftermarket anyways... and to cover the costs of getting the new engine of course. LOL...

yea if i remember correctly they do have them, I'll have to double check the pics i took to see if they are obviously there. But 99.9% sure on that. Next day I have off I'll go over to his house and start un-installing them for ya. Whatever you can give me for them would be appreciated. It'll go into the Engine fund for sure, lol...
