Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had any information on becoming a tow truck driver in Canada, mroe specifically Ontario, I searched the internet but could only find a few places in the states that give training. It seems like an interesting career, I enjoy driving but wouldn't want to spend weeks away from home as a truck driver, and I enjoy helping people. Well any light that can be shed on the subject would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I think all you need is your D class licence (not sure) if not, definitely your A-Z you will be fine. I dotn think there is training, just get your licence and apply, or open your own company.
Hope i helped a bit with what little I said haha
Good luck! and i hope you dont have to come tow me some day...

Normal Wreaker and NORMAL pick up truck tilt and load you just need a G when you get over the 1 1/2 tonne trucks thats when the D is needed just for weight. then you may as well get DZ so you can air brakes
training is basically get someone to teach you to run the truck its not that hard. i just go out with my dad on calls and i can run his truck.
Sweet, just gotta see if anyone will hire me now lol, doubt it, but it's worth a shot.
