ok guy so free parts day is this weekend, already. so its time for another post of what we have in the yard.
approx 10 2nd gen J's not really sure, just say them.

now we have approx 15 3rd gen J's out there, being a third gen guy i made up the list in my head.
1 2001 cavalier sedan, no drive train or bags, ok interior.
1 2000 sunfire GT, no drive drain, hit front end.
2 98 cavalier Z24, no drive trains in them, bags in one, great for interior parts.
1 97? sunfire GT drive train??? looks good.
4 95-99 cavalier sedans, 3 drive drains intact, 1 missing. bags is some.
1 95 sunfire GT 2.3 ltr, drive drain intact.
6ish assorted 2.2ltr 2 door cavaliers and sunfires, some with drive trains some with out.

theres the list guys, if you want anymore info just post it up.

Would you happen to know if any 2nd-gen Sunbird GT's were in the yard? Drivetrain doesn't matter, looking more for interior stuff, resevoirs, and wiring.

what color are the interiors for the Sunfire GT's? Looking for a few items. Also, no 03 or later models? Looking for a rear bumper and reinforcement, with backup lights (ie everything to convert my 98 to an 03+ rear)

as for the sunfires most of the interiors are black/gray.
anything really new we strip down, they never make it to the yard.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ you should fill out your profile, that would help finding parts for your car, what are you driving, and the color, we might have it in the yard.

I could use a tranny...93-94 out of an older quad 4 car....its going to be internal slave cylinder and also a muncie. Can't use 95 and newer and can't use 92 and older unless its one of the few 92's with internal slave cylinder (btw standard shift)

Looking for a power lock bezel for a 95-99 Sunfire, and maybe a driver's side door panel (the bezel is for the driver's side as well)

I need a power lock bezel as well, but for a 99 z24 coupe. I need the one off the drivers door, but theyre prob the same on both doors. If someone grabs one for me I'd throw you a few bucks for it

Justin, my girlfriend was afraid of us too -- we found the '98 Sunfire and were initially just going to take the two front seats, then we figured "why not?" to the carpet... then realized the back seats were a good score too... After we had it all removed, we realized we just made quite the mission to get it all OUT of the yard. A light went off in my head, and the 6000 SE next to us lost its hood. The girlfriend was surprised we managed. We almost couldn't lift the hood with everything and contemplated leaving the carpet.

We just got it all installed in Influence's car this afternoon.

I got some more things for my upcoming Sunbird GT flip-ups and aero kit swap, so I'm happy too. Definately going to check out the next Free Parts Day in September -- hope to see you there.

And SuperFast, was nice talking to you about the J-bodies as well.
