HELP!!! Lambo Door Install with Molded Kit

OK...no..before you all ask, this SHOULD NOT be in the Interior section...

Here's my dillema, I have just purchased the MMS Lambo Hinges (and a WICKED GP at that!!), but I realize that I cannot install them by myself easily because I have a drift kit that is molded to my front and rear fenders. So... the only way I can install them is to hoist the car up and install them after taking of the wheel well (farrrrr beyond my expertise...)

So...I am actually looking to see if either:

1) someone knows of a body shop that can install them for me (not Soundspeed cause they are WAAAAY too busy and I'll have to wait 3 months minimum....

OR...

2) If anyone who has experience is willing to help me (I'll pay in $$, beer or / and women if I must).

I'm DYING to get them on... Arrrgh!!!! I live in T.O., but I am willing to drive for any assistance.

Thanks Team!!!

Stais

but anyways, get back to me.. maybe we can work something out

Thurs my car is going in, and we're doing his breaks too

And i just got a new apartment so i'll be moving in there this weekend... maybe we can get you in there next weekend depending on what his uncle is doing...

anyways, your call.. if you can wait, give me a shout.. otherwise i can't quite help ya out bro

Thanks for the offer M Dawg. I might take you up on that if I cannot find someone more locally as I live in the GTA.

Blackfire, I can find some people to help if you are willing to give me a hand to put these on. My issue is that I have no clue how to do it without taking teh fenders off so if you are willing to help or at least provide some detailed instructions I'd be forever in your debt.

And if ANYONE else has any advice or is willing to help there is LOTS of beer in it for you (and $$$ if necessary...)

I've installed 3 of these...I can help out on the install aswell if you'd like.

with the fenders being molded, I would say 3 people would be a great idea.

Sweet!!! BigPoppa and Blackfire... I have myself and at least 2 other people that I can recruit to help us install these hinges. So... I'll add you both to my MSN and give you guys a shout to arrange a meet up. I AM in the GTA so I will also have to talk to you both to arange where we will do this. I can't tell ya how much I appreciate it (a shop was gonna charge me a SICK amount or $$$ to install them.

It'll have to wait a week or two though as I hit a f%^kin dog (yes a huuuge dog) over the weekend and screwed up my kit. So it's in the shop getting fixed then we are good to go.

Thanks again!!!!

Stais

BTW... you both have sick whips!!!

Hey, let me know when you guys are meeting up for the install. Don't have any experience with the lambos but I do know my way around the shop, sure I could be of some help. I wouldn't mind lending a hand and seeing how its done cause I'm planning on putting some on next summer if you guys wouldn't mind.

MDC - you actually gave me a wicked idea... I know that many peopl ewould love to know how to install these so... if Big Poppa and Blackfire don't mind, maybe we could do the install at a club meet - or... put the word out there that if anyone want to see or learn how to install these, they can come and watch. We can maybe grab some beer, food and just have a good time with it. I'm sure there are more people who would love to know how to do this...

If more people respond to this thread I'll make the arrangement. If not, I'd be more than happy to have the extra hand MDC. Between the 4 of us J-Body lovers and my friend and brother, we could actually install BOTH doors at the same time since there would be 6 of us.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Big Poppa and MDC, I have added you both to my MSN. I'm hopin gto get my ride back from the shop this Thursday, so if you guys are free on Saturday, that would be cool. At least I'd have my doors on for the JCO meet on Sunday. Let me know if you guys are free

If anyone else wants to help, feel free to add me to your MSN (skolastix@hotmail.com)

Pretty much any day is good except for the 9th, I'll be watching world cup finals on college

I feel ya Marco... I'l be watching the finals too. I'm dependant on Vince (BigPoppa). He's busy this weekend with his ride in the Grand Tuner show, but I really wanna get the doors on soon. He said he'll let me know when he has time. In total, there will be 4 of us so it should be a breeze.

The offer still stands for anyone else who wants to help so they can learn - the more the merrier...
