I'm looking for an ecu with some considerable hp gain for a 99 2.4L. Does anybody have any chiped cars? Would you recommend it? If so any specific manufacturers? Have you noticed any differences? And does anybody know where to get them? Thanks.

There is no such thing available... yet.

Now that the HP Tuners stuff is out, it's only a matter of time before you'll be able to bring your car to a shop to be reprogrammed but it's gonna take some time before any shop comes up with a reliable tune that can be used by the masses.

You'll have better luck finding a place who will tune your car specifically for what you've done to it.

Don't be scammed. Any "chip" anyone tries to sell you is a scam.

Thanks for the tip. No wonder I was having such a hard time finding out any info on any ecu's.

i dont know if I remember correctly but didn't shifted say he was going to program some ecu's, just ship them to him he tunes it and sends it back, only problem with that is your out a car for a few weeks. But I think I remember him posting that, or I was dreaming.
