Windshield CRACKED
Sunday, March 05, 2006 6:24 PM
Hey guys, well ever since i bought the car there was a small sort of dent in the windshield. And last week on one of the really cold days, im driving down the road, and the window starts to fog up, the cars warmed, and the heater goes on full blast. Suddenly I hear a CRACK, and look to see a crack doing across my windshield. I need to replace this fast, before it breaks and falls in on me while im driving. Anyone know any good shops that do a really good job, for a decent price. Also im looking for a shop that will do rust proofing for the bottom of my car. Any known shops? Thx for the help...

I got my windshield replaced at All-Pro Auto Glass. I'm not sure if it's a local shop or not but I'm guessing it's a chain. Cost me $160, and there's a 2-year warranty on the windshield.

Your windshield isn't going to fall into your lap, trust me.

heh. Yeah, don't be afraid it's going to cave in on you. It won't. But it still needs to be fixed.

In the future, if you ever notice any sort of chip or mark in your windshield, get it fixed ASAP and you'll avoid this issue. Spending a few bucks for a chip repair can save you a hell of a lot more.
