Seem sto me that the oil pump is a little bit of a problem on the 2.4L motor. I also noticed that ppl do an HO oil pump swap...i was wondering what year of HO that was out of? The 95 or older? like the 93 era...im really confused.

The oil pumps they use are from the pre 95 2.3HO engines. The HO did not come in a J. There should be a lot of info if you search.

Actaully, the HO motors cam in the 95 Z24s. The came with 2 different intake manifolds, An HO, which are the rarer of the two, and LO, or Low Output. They look the same but are slightly different. I just didnt kno whaich HO motor the pump came out of cuz they are slightly different.

i owned a 95z and that was a LO trust me on that, and if you read you will see that no HO came stock in a 95z

false. HO engines only came in the Calais, Achieva, Grand Am, and Beretta between 89-94.

Seems to me, If all the GM info is right (and it is) That the LG0 was built between 1990 and 1994.

I have all the stuff you need, if you want it all New.
